Yahoo is hiring freshers as Software Engineer Candidates from multiple batches are eligible for this role. The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.
We are looking for a full-stack engineer to work on innovative products for Yahoo Search. We need someone who is a strong software engineer and also is interested in working with product and business leaders at the company to help define and execute a product vision. The candidate should be ready to take on the challenge of building products which will be used by millions of users globally on a highly scalable serving platform built on modern cloud technologies. Most importantly, the candidate should be ready to learn new technologies and interested in growing their knowledge base.
The candidate should have a full-stack background with 3+ years of experience and a BS in Computer Science or a related field. Important technologies include experience with one of the primary public cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure), strong experience working in a modern back-end programming language (Java, C++, Node.js, etc.) and solid experience building modern web-based front ends (using tools such as React). Experience with modern CI/CD systems is a plus, as is familiarity with modern datastores. Experience with Kubernetes is also a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $111,000.00 – $231,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
