The Operations Finance teams help to drive success by providing our business partners and key stakeholders with the operational support, insights and direction essential to growing the business. We’re responsible for driving the financial forecast process and providing senior leaders with reporting and analysis on key metrics.

About You

You are a self-starter with a love of finance, analytics and operations. You work well in teams and individually. You thrive in college and are ready to roll up your sleeves and add value to the finance organization while learning a few things along the way. You enjoy collaborating on a whiteboard, analyzing in a spreadsheet and presenting your solutions. You have fun, are a tech junkie and use Yahoo products.

Your Day

• Forecasting, planning, reporting or analysis for business units / regions
• Project management and operational support
• Team and cross-functional communication
• Work on revenue, product, process or operational initiatives

You Must Have/Be

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Excellent analytical skills, a focus on results, the ability to articulate complex ideas, and creative problem solving abilities
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions
• A passion for technology or media and have demonstrated professional drive
• Demonstrate clearly the ability to manage multiple projects in an environment that is fast-paced and highly dynamic

The compensation for this position ranges from $45,760.00 – $135,200.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about.
