Stealth Startup Hiring Software Engineer, Frontend 2022/23/24

*POSITION REQUIRES ONSITE IN BASTROP, TX

Our company just hit a milestone with it’s Series C round of funding ($675M), and we have an opening for a mid-level, Frontend Software Engineer. This role is pivotal to the company’s growth and long-term success. We are looking to build a foundational engineering team to help shape the future of fast travel transportation. *Position is onsite in Bastrop, TX

As a Frontend Software Engineer you will be responsible for helping build a completely new underground transportation system on the consumer facing side. This role will primarily be focused on designing and implementing tools to operate, analyze and control. Examples of projects span from Loop automation to building testing infrastructure. Within this role, you will have wide exposure to the overall system architecture.

Responsibilities:

Projects You’ll be a part of:

• Applied vision machine projects
• Tracking queue length, tracking cars
• Replay footage tools
• Traffic controlling
• Map of the Vegas loop
• Managing of databases

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Experience developing software applications in JavaScript, React, html, css

Our Tech Stack:

• React, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Node – modern tech stack is okay

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary.

Comp Package:

1 year – $95k-100k + RSU

5 – 6 years $150k -160k + RSUs
