Software Development Engineer – Spinnaker Experience

A software development engineer at Razorpay is expected to be smart, quality-focused, and a strong product thinker. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive and contribute to product and design discussions.
• Help scale our payment infrastructure to make online payments accessible to every Indian.
• Shape the development of REST APIs used by developers globally.
• Contribute to open-source projects as we set new standards for mobile payments.
• Be a key player in brainstorming and creating new directions for Razorpay in our mission to simplify and democratize online payments.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in technology.
• Strong product design and thinking.
• Experience in programming languages like PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, C++.
• Understanding of end-user requirements and ability to translate them into effective solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and web technologies.
• Ability to build features from scratch and drive them to completion.
• Passion for learning new technologies to deliver the best product.
• Active contributions to GitHub projects, particularly side projects.
• Open-source contributions are highly valued.
• Previous experience at a product company is a plus.
• Proficiency in a backend programming language.

Desirable Experience:

Experience with Spinnaker or similar continuous delivery tools is a plus, as it aligns with our infrastructure needs to scale and deploy effectively.
