You will be responsible for working with a team of engineers in the design, development, test, and deployment of a range of products on the web and mobile platforms. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing agent-facing experiences, a strong technical ability, excellent project execution skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Your day to day

• Work within a team of highly talented engineers, product, and architects to design and develop a highly scalable and configurable Pricing Platform in PayPal’s payment system.
• Being involved in design meetings to propose, discuss and refine new features and functionality.
• Write tests for the existing and newly created code to maintain compatibility
• Maintain and enhance the existing architectural documentation and create new one as needed
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Provide suggestions for continuous improvements as necessary
  
  

What Do You Need To Bring-

• 3+ years of industry experience. Education experience – B.Tech/ B.E.
• Experience in developing RESTful endpoints or other SOA endpoints.
• Experience in developing backend services in Java, Spring, Hibernate.
• Demonstrable programming abilities in Java – other languages like C++, Python, AngularJS a plus.
• Understanding basic algorithmic techniques, design patterns and best practices.
• Curiosity about how things work and the behavior of finding the answers. Flexible and adapting to the changing circumstances, tenacious.
• Expertise in Unix and with relational databases, NoSQL databases.
• Experience with the development of scalable and distributed Java services.
• Should be passionate and take pride in building systems that are used by millions of users every day.
• Should have good communication skills
