Who We’re Looking For

We’re on the lookout for a Backend Software Development Intern who’s passionate about building data-intensive cloud-native solutions. If you’re excited to work with Python, SQL, PySpark, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to process and analyze massive amounts of data, this role is perfect for you!

What You’ll Do

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark, and relevant big data frameworks.
• Cloud Integration: Work hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure to store, process, and manage large datasets in a secure and cost-effective manner.
• Performance & Reliability: Identify bottlenecks in data ingestion and processing, and devise solutions to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• Collaboration & Learning: Partner with cross-functional teams—including product managers and fellow engineers—to translate business needs into robust backend capabilities.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews to uphold best practices and coding standards.
• Embrace the Cloud: Get exposed to devops as you help deploy and manage our SaaS platform, ensuring it’s both secure and scalable.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Academic Background: Pursuing or recently graduated with a B.Tech (Computer Science or related field).
• Foundational Skills: Familiarity with Python, SQL, and (ideally) PySpark—through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.
• Cloud Enthusiasm: Eagerness to learn and work with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for data processing.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to break down complex challenges and propose efficient, scalable solutions.
• Collaboration Skills: Enjoy working in teams, communicating ideas, and building relationships with peers and mentors.
• Bonus Points for exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD pipelines etc.
