The Opportunity:
• Software Engineer position responsible for software development using Java, Rest and Microservice technologies.
What you do:
• Ability to design/develop with/without IDE
• Ability to incorporate necessary logging and monitoring functionality
• Ability to access databases programmatically
• Ability to program in a distributed computing model
• Strong debugging skills
• Ability to unit test software effectively
• Knowledge of the MVC pattern for application development
• Applied knowledge of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Knowledge of methodology models currently used by the organization
• Effectively establish traceability metrics between Requirements, design, code, and test cases
• Ability to design of XML Schemas/DTDs
You are great at:
• Java, J2EE, Struts, XML, Web Services, Web Frameworks and SOA
• At least one Application Server.
• Oracle database with level of confidence in PL/SQL, Spring and Hibernate
• Good problem-solving and coding skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Work independently and handle product responsibilities (deduce requirements, provide solutions)
• Should be able to interact with customers to help them troubleshoot issues with our software, co-ordinate with other support tiers
• Desired to have RESTFUL Services, JSF, Web 2.0 technologies
• Domain Knowledge (Supply Chain Management)
