E-commerce today is no longer enough for customers in its current shape and form. The online shopping experience hasn’t improved much, lacks trust, emotional connect & is very transactional. It is still predominantly dependent on photos, texts & searches. It is becoming increasingly expensive for businesses to run their online stores due to low conversion rates, fewer engagements, and low-profit margins. Selling online is no longer the ideal solution. Simply put, it is very inefficient. This is a huge global problem.

At Baaz, we are combining traditional eCommerce and interactive storytelling. In essence, we’re rethinking the entire online shopping experience from the ground up keeping trust, storytelling, and a superior shopping experience at the center. We’re transforming traditional eCommerce stores into interactive ones with just a click of a button.

About The Internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements
• Designing back-end services for various business processes
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
• Documenting the functional requirements, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of development
• Solving technical problems of different complexities and scope
• Writing the unit test procedure to test the feature or application built
