We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern for our Development team. This internship can be either a FT or PT role (will depend on the right candidate’s availability).

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to support all development functions, including acquisitions, due diligence, impact fees, utility costs, market analysis, constructions costs, entitlements, etc.
• Assist development team with procurement of 3rd party consultants, rec owner items, and FFE items for assigned development projects
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of financial models and budgets
• Research and gather documentation for RFQ/RFP responses
• Assist in the assemblage of RFQ/RFP responses and preparation for community preparations
• Assist with land acquisition, including preparation of LOI’s and purchase contracts with legal counsel, and gathering of due diligence materials
• Complete ad-hoc research projects for development team
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited college/university is strongly preferred.
• Must have an interest in the property management business.
• High proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
