The Product Operations Software Engineering (OpsSWE) team is responsible for developing tools and infrastructure solutions for Product Operations. Our team is involved in solving for and providing solutions for a broad range of Product Operations needs, solutions vary from Tools to Distributed Systems.


The Ops SWE team is looking for a creative and motivated full stack developer with excellent technical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic geographically dispersed team responsible for the development of creative solutions to support Apple business needs.


Key Qualifications

8+ years experience and solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SW design and data structures

Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally and geographically

Work on all phases of the development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment and support

Experience with full stack web development

Experience with Kubernetes and AWS

Experience with at least one lightweight virtualisation tool (e.g. Docker)

Experience with web front-end development technologies such as React or Angular

Experience designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable RESTful services

Experience in distributed real time system development

Experience working with Databases

Experience working with Node.js


Description

We are looking for a flexible full stack engineer who can build and maintain solutions from the ground up using modern frameworks. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to support diverse global needs. You will work cross functionally with various Apple teams to understand, analyze, define requirements to identify, design and develop optimal solutions and to support same. You must be willing to travel internationally if required


Education & Experience

BE /B.Tech, Masters or PhD in Computer Science or similar from a premier school


Additional Requirements

* Knowledge in the following areas would be an advantage:

* Xcode, Swift, or other macOS development, and comfortable working in Unix environments

* Javascript

* Git

* Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (e.g. Jenkins)

* Familiarity with DBMS and NOSQL

* SQL query language

* Shell, python, or perl scripting
