Front End Software Engineer

Position Description

Work Schedule: Hybrid 2 days in office, 3 work from home. Flexible schedule for days in office.

This is a position with our client’s Execution team in Pittsburgh, PA. Their mission is to deploy and operate datacenters with the highest reliability, lowest cost, and latest technology. To help achieve this mission, this team is building a new tool suite to drive higher workforce productivity through guided, standardized processes built with user happiness as a core tenet.

Role Description

In your role, you will deliver solutions that enable data center operations to plan and execute work with greater efficiency and throughput. The goal is building a system that is easy to scale and easy to adapt as we work with users to optimize standard procedures and craft them into guided tasks within our UI. This is an opportunity for high impact and collaboration across multiple software teams, user experience exports, and operations groups. We are a close-knit, fast growing team that is building out a new tool suite.

This new tool suite represents the consolidation of our current software solutions into a unified product offering for partner Ops teams, with a single UI for monitoring, orchestrating and performing work tasks at the data center. In doing so, the opportunity exists to realize operations savings in the $MM/year range.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

• BS/BA Degree
• Angular or similar Front-End Framework
• HTML, CSS Java, C++, or other OOO language Familiarity with backend system basics (e.g. RPCs)
• 1+ year of Experience in Computer Science or related degree.

Desired

• Typescript
• Unit Testing framework such as Karma
