Aereo’s Software Development internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the drone technology sector. As an intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development of a Windows Desktop application for Ground Control Station. This application plays a crucial role in managing and controlling drone operations, ensuring efficiency and safety in various industries.

Product: Windows Desktop application for Ground Control Station

Throughout the internship, you will be involved in exciting projects that include feasibility studies and integration with open servers to identify weather conditions for flight missions. You’ll also work on integrating our software with DigitalSky, a platform that helps identify fly zones of areas of interest (AOIs), enhancing the precision and reliability of our drone operations. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with developing automatic software upgrade functionalities, ensuring our software remains up-to-date with the latest features and security patches.

As part of your responsibilities, you’ll explore the feasibility of new technologies and protocols, taking projects from conception to implementation. This includes gaining an understanding of emerging technologies, designing software solutions, coding, and thorough testing of new features.

We expect our interns to have a strong foundation in C++ and the ability to comprehend complex desktop applications written in C/C++. A multi-tasker with a self-driven attitude will thrive in our dynamic and innovative environment.
