NavGurukul a non-profit organization working towards the financial empowerment of students from underprivileged sections of society. We are committed to ensuring that the girls from the remotest part of the country who wish to learn to program but aren’t able to have access to high-quality training and can learn programming on their smartphones themself, including running and writing the code. We offer fully-funded skilling and recruitment programs in software engineering that enable them to secure aspirational careers.

About The Internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Support the teaching and learning objectives of CIF, i.e. teach programming or coding to young children while applying innovative teaching techniques
• Develop & modify the course content, design, structure, forms of delivery, method of assessment, and approach to teaching according to the requirement of the class
• Mentor and supervise the students in their study skills and help them in removing learning problems
• Formulate manners and methods for evaluating the outcomes of the teaching efforts and provide constructive feedback to students
• Manage your teaching and administrative activities
• Prioritize the tasks within the agreed objectives to ensure all activities are completed on time
• Work on giving first-line support and mentoring to students
• Appreciate the needs of individual students and their circumstances, while supporting them through their learning process
• Undertake various administrative responsibilities as required, including assessment of progress, student attendance, teaching quality, student experience, etc.
• Participate in regular interactions with other CIF fellows
