What do we do?

Our company is on a mission to eliminate waste by leveraging technology to build a circular economy. The fashion industry contributes ~10% of the world’s CO2 emissions. The size of our wardrobes have doubled over the last decade yet we barely use less than 20% of it on a regular basis. Relove enables these garments to be resold by deploying a peer to peer resale technology through the brands own ecommerce website. Each garment resold saves upto 6 times its weight in greenhouse gas emissions.

What will you do everyday?

As a member of the core platform development team you will be building relove’s resale software and integrating the application with partner brands. Relove’s application powers integrates to a variety of complex tasks such as product verification, heuristics and predictive price calculation, integration with logistics partners and payment systems.  This position reports to the company’s co-founder Prateek Gupte

Tech Stack – NodeJS (Next), React, MySQL, AWS, Docker

What are we looking for in the perfect candidate?

• 1-2 years experience in developing web applications with server side components (REST/GraphQL) and Frontend Applications (React/Angular)
• Experience in any backend technology and the ability to deploy and maintain basic infrastructure.
• A strong understanding of standard software development practices such as git, git flow, SCRUM etc
• Knowledge of React, NodeJS, MySQL, GraphQL is a plus
• Experience with NextJS and the Shopify API is an additional plus
• Should be comfortable working in a fast paced, changing environment
• Show a high degree of ownership
